As part of the Latino History Outreach Project, the Nevada Department of Transportation created this video series to highlight the Latino people, places, and traditions that have shaped Nevada.

Stories were chosen based on recurring themes and culturally significant places identified during the project’s research phase.

Video allows us to capture stories in a way that written records alone cannot, creating a deeper connection to the faces, voices, and experiences being shared. Together, these videos celebrate heritage and invite all Nevadans to connect with our state’s rich history.
